No description of what’s inside this MPC in the auction listing, so it’s probably stock. Link
“You are looking at an Akai mpc 2000 which has the 8 output and SPDIF digital board, effects board and the 32mB ram board in it. “all the mods have been done” It is in great shape and it will come with the power cord, boot disk, manual, and hard case made by “USA CASE”. It is really cared for and it was not on the road, I just had the case cause when I moved I bought it to store the mpc while moving” Link

“This Akai MPC60 is in great shape for its age and works perfect. It has the Roger Linn 3.10 OS and upgraded memory to give you 26.2 seconds of sampling time. This unit does not have the SCSI board install. The screen display is nice and bright. This unit has a few minor cosmetic flaws (see picture), but in no way do they affect the functionality of this vintage unit. I will include a floppy disc with a quick beat recently made on this unit containing chopped samples and drums.” Link
I’m always late at the game, as this has been around for a bit, but here’s an informative blog on the S900. Keep up the good work!
Fully loaded MPC2000XL. LCD has some lines in the display, other than that, this has a ton of features — 8-outputs, EB-16 effects card, Internal Zip, 32MB RAM which make the expansion pieces worth as much as the Buy It Now price. Link
Nice looking MPC 2000 with lots of goodies — 8-output board, SMPTE, Digital IO, and two ZIP drives (one SCSI and one USB), plus other assorted odds and ends. A really nice setup for someone looking to get started.

“This is a sampling machine that was and still is highly sought after. It has a 16 bit 44 stereo samplers and features 16 voices, 32 mg of ram and 24 bit internal processing.
This item has had a new back light fitted and comes complete with power lead, rack mounts and much sought after manual. The item is in great condition with a small paint chip on the cursor control knob.” Link

Play your cards right using live.com cashback and this would net at around $600.00 plus shipping.
“This a MPC 3000 in good condition. I am selling this for a friend and really don’t know much about the MPC 3000 other than that its suppose to be easy to use and make your drums punchy. From what i see the screen looks good (couldn’t take a good picture of it) and the unit is in good shape. The one thing i notice is that the play button works but doesn’t compress like the other buttons. Other than that it seems to work great. Comes with power cord and 32 meg upgrade.” Link
“The getting hard to find MPC-3000. Has Floppy drive & SCSI and its Version 3.10. There are a few small issues with it. The backlight is out but the screen is very readable as you can see in the picture (its quite common for the backlights to go out on these older machines) and the plug in the back is a bit loose. It you physically shake the plug up and down then the power will go out. If you just leave it alone the machine works just fine. You can leave it that way or fix it if you want! Enjoy!”
“This listing is for a classic Akai Professional Midi Digital Sampler. Used in studio, still in good condition.” Link
“Up for bids here is an Akai MPC 3000 MIDI Production Center/Drum Machine. This drum machine is used by some of the top producers in the music industry today. It includes a full featured sampler, sequencer and drum machine all in one sophisticated unit. This drum machine has been taken out of the box a maximum of about 10 times, and it is in fact used, but it is in pristine condition. I’ve finally decided to sell it because I just don’t get the enjoyment and use out of it that I thought I would. I’m accepting extremely reasonable offers on this piece so feel free to make one. Paypal ONLY on instant offers. Included also are 4 factory sound disks and power cable. The power cable alone is about $60 retail value.
Great series of Beat Tapes on Youtube. Check them out!
