These are genuine RogerLinn chips (not burnt EPROM copies). Incredibly easy to install, just lift out the old chips and replace with these…. There’s a step-by-step instruction manual available to download (I’ll send the link to the winning bidder)…. If I can install these then anyone can!!!

“You are considering an Akai MPC 2000 drum machine. The unit looks well used and the memory looks to have been blanked out. There are problems with the unit as follows:
1) the Volume knob is missing // 2) the Power switch in the back is Broken // 3) The front display cover is loose and slides around as though someone went inside to see if they could fix the power switch.
The unit powers up when you push in the power switch and hold it in. If you release the switch the unit cuts off. The unit also comes with a zip 250 disc drive and a couple extra discs that it came in with. The unit is being Sold AS-IS, as this would be a great project for someone who knows mkore about these.” Link
