Looks like the 8-output expansion board was harvested from this machine.
“This is a MPC 2000xl in great condition with no cosmetic damages. The MPC is fully upgraded to 32mb of ram adding a ton of sampling time (189 seconds!). The screen is in excellent condition with no lines or marks. All pads and buttons work great. Overall, the machine is in excellent working condition. The MPC comes with OS v1.2 installed and a extra 1.2 backup floppy as well as the AC power cord.” Link

“I am selling my MPC1000 with the JJ OS 3.08. I can put the Akai OS 2.12 on it if you wish. It has the real Akai EXM-128, HDM-10, and a 20GB Hard Drive. The auction includes the power supply, a printed manual in a three ring binder and the original Akai 32MB CF card. Everything works as it’s supposed to and I have the photos to prove it. I can send more photos via email upon reguest. I’m selling because I have no use for this anymore since I bought an MV-8000, but I find the MPC1000 much easier to use. All buttons, pads and sliders work. The screen, outputs, inputs all work. HD drive and CF slot both work.” Link

Why not wait until the replacement part is in to take the pictures?
“Very good overall condition, few scratches around the pads and a couple of scuffs otherwise very clean. The volume knob is a temporary replacement, the original part has been ordered and should arrive from the U.S any day, also the slider caps on the Q link controllers are different colours 1 blue 1 black.” Link

Europe only.
“I’ve had this unit for about 2 years and in that time it has served me well and been treated with the utmost care. Hence, the condition is A1.
Reason for selling is that I am finding myself drawn back to Ableton rather than using hardware sequencers these days.
As stated above the unit has been upgraded with the following:-
CD-Drive, 128mb Ram, 60gb HDD and a whole host of sample libraries pre-loaded on the HD ” Link

Opening bid is $500.
“The MPC 2500 is the ‘ex’ flagship MPC, now overthrown by the MPC5000. Basically the MPC 2500 is an MPC1000 ‘with knobs-on’. It’s the true upgrade from the MPC2000XL in my opinion – from a build perspective, the two seem quite similar with their tilting screens, similar size, 8 outputs and sturdy builds. Internally, the MPC 2500 is a completely different beast to the XL; the operating system is the ‘new breed’ OS from Akai and is basically the MPC1000 OS with a couple of additional features (e.g. Chop Shop, Direct Recording etc)… This item is Brand New, bought for personal use but changed hobbies. Has manuals & original paper work, additional memory never installed…. ” Link

“You are bidding on an Akai MPC 3000 LE Black Limited Edition Sampler/Drum Machine! This is the rare signature edition, number 0515 of only 1800 built. Truely a collectible classic for the MPC enthusiast. If you’re not already familiar with the MPC 3000 in general, just check it out online, as there’s plenty of info out there on both the standard model and this Limited Edition version.
Overall this machine is in great shape. The bottom two rows of pads are a little dirty from typical use (which is common), but they can be cleaned if need be. The display backlight is out (also common), which can be replaced for about 40.00 or so from Telesis (best backlights in the biz). Display is fine to read with decent room light. All pads and buttons work fine, and it has version 3.11 software plus full 16mb ram expansion for 188 seconds mono sampling or 94 seconds stereo. It comes with the power cable and the PDF manual on a CDR.” Link
