This is a very impressive sampler. The 8 outputs are perfect to make it become a solid drum machine. The cutoff is also amazing. Simple but rocking. The S900 can be a serious tool for anybody trying to get that really fat and dirty sound in the drum area.The key is to blow the sound up either before or after sampling. It might be considered old gear, but the S900 has it’s own personality and character. As I stated before this unit is in nearly new condition with few signs of use.; The screen is bright like the day it came from the factory. I bought this from a guy who used it for one project and then it has sat in storage since. This is a very rare unit and a must for anyone who loves Roger Linn’s Masterpieces, the MPC 60 or MPC 3000.
