“To make up some room in the studio (and to make a living) I’m selling my Akai MPC-4000. It is in very good condition and works perfectly. It comes configured as follows:

* Operating system 1.71.

* 512 MB RAM.

* 160 GB quiet hard drive. “Only” 127GB can be used by the MPC-4000 though, but I really believe that’s enough for most people…

* Effects card and S/PDIF in/out is installed. I think it was standard on most MPC-4000′s.

* The fan has been replaced be a quieter but yet more effective than the original one.

* The Q sliders were recently replaced so they are nice and smooth.

* Power cable is included. No manual though, but it can be found online.” Link

“This is an mpc2000xl with the backlight of the lcd screen is out(you just cant use in the dark). Also I had tried to install an internal CF Card Reader but couldn’t get it to work. I tried reinstalling the floppy disc after the CF Card Reader didn’t work and now BOTH are non operational. The mpc works regularly other than that though, you might have to purchase another zip disc im not sure. I couldn’t figure it out which is the reason why i am selling.If you like I can send it with non operational the floppy disc drive, the CF Reader is already in the MPC. it has max ram, and 8 ins and outs. I triggered sounds via midi with it for a while after(regardless of the non operational media drives) so it might be an easy fix for an MPC savy individual.(it maybe be as simple as reformatting the cf but I dont have a pc) I am selling “as is” due to the nature of the item.” Link

Up for auction is a barely used AKAI MPC 1000 Drum Machine/Sampler Production Center. It is in brand new condition and has no scratches, dents, or marks whatsoever. It comes inside the original box, including both manuals, warranty information, and all the original papers that come with it. Also included is the original Power Cord, 32mb Media Card and as a bonus I will include two (2) Quarter Inch to RCA cables for output use on the AKAI MPC 1000. It’s such a wonderful, sturdy machine and I really don’t want to part with it, but it’s just been sitting in my recording studio unused as it’s only seen about 150-175 hrs of use (if that) since I am using more digital vs analog these days. Selten kommt ein Streifen in der Vertikalen und verschwindet wieder, also nur an einer Stelle links, ist aber minimal ! Stört gar nicht! Sonst ist das Display Top und leuchtet hell wie am ersten Tag! Überzeugt euch an den Bildern!
