I’m selling because I just don’t use it much any more. When not in use I kept this unit covered over, so one of the best things about this unit is it’s in a nice clean, dust-free condition. The bottom left pad has lost just a tad of it’s sensitivity but it’s not enough to keep you from doing what you need to do! It comes with the original box, manual and memory card. “Up for auction is a USED Music Production Center by AKAI, Model MPC1000. It appears to be in very good condition with ONE exception. You will see from the attached pics that one of the ‘knob’s…the little white plastic thing that slides up & down on the top left is missing. The metal piece is intact & slides perfectly, it’s just the white plastic cover on it (like the one immediately below) is missing. Comes with a 1GB CF card, & the power cord. ” Link

“I am selling a used mpc 2000 sampler made by Akai. Everything works but the screen has lines across it when it is turned on, it is still usable though. The Note Variation slider doesn’t have a rubber grip, but it works fine as well. This mpc is better for someone who already knows what they are doing on the machine. The memory has been upgraded so it has more sample memory (from 2MB to 32MB).” Link

“Legendary sampler/sequencer. This machine has an issue sampling — everything comes out garbled. You may be able to load samples okay, I never tried that. Any tech familiar with these should be able to fix it— I never tried because I didn’t have a use for the sampler. The physical condition is quite clean & the screen works and is readable. The pads and sequencer work flawlessly, and that is what I used it for. Now I need the space so here it is. Any questions, feel free to ask.” Link
