“Akai S950 Classic Sampler fully working, very clean and in great cosmetic condition.

I bought this around 4 years ago and like most of my gear, never got used enough. It has been stored in a smoke free, dehumidified studio. There are a few scratches to the top edge of the facia (see photos), but apart from a few light scratches to the top panel, this is the only defect of the whole unit. All buttons, knobs and the floppy disk drive feel smooth and work perfectly. It has the standard memory but can be expanded to 3 times the factory memory. “This is a used Akai MPC500 with 128MB of memory installed, a 1GB Compact Flash card, MPC Stuff Thick Fat pads, new screen and power supply. It has some scratches on casing but it works perfectly. I have owned a few of these over the past few years and this is a really good one. The buttons all work and the pads have great sensitivity. Akai MFC42

“Akai MFC42 analog filter in very clean and working condition.

The included rack ears can be removed if you’d rather sit this on a table. There are nice pads underneath to keep from scratching surfaces.

The mono and stereo filters are multi-mode and the LFOs can by synchronized by MIDI. The character of the filter is in my opinion, wild and aggressive. If you crank the resonance, I would highly suggest putting behind a limiter because its insane. The phaser and distortion effects are not as nice as you can get in a pedal but they are there.

Currently set at 120 VAC @ 60Hz for USA and Canada.
However, this unit is can be set for 230 VAC @ 50hz European operation with a switch in the rear at the power jack. Please refer the 3rd page in the manual (google it).
