“For sale is an AKAI Professional MPC2500 Sampler and Sequencer in its original packaging. Cosmetically it is in excellent condition,
All the dials, buttons and switches, are in good working condition.
This particular unit has been has had two different upgrades from the standard setup.
128MB – EXM128 Ram Upgrade
160GB – Upgrade storage, Hitachi 0A28419 160GB 5400 2.5 INCH IDE HDD
The increased ram will allow you to add more samples or record longer loops than you would have previously been able to do.
The increased HDD will allow you to store more samples which you can choose from.
This unit however does not have the CF card, but these can now be picked up very cheaply. ”

“Akai MPC 1000 Expanded with JJOS 1 v4.99, 128MB Ram, and 120GB Hard Drive with large sample library.
Classic Akai MPC1000, powerful sampler and sequencer with effects, multi-outs, USB, digital i/o, midi etc. Upgraded with maximum 128MB ram and internal 120GB hard drive loaded with around 25GB of samples, mainly hip-hop, house, techno and analogue sounds, many thousands of sounds to get you going. Also includes an 8GB compact flash card with the factory library and a UK power lead.
Works well, cosmetically there are some marks from use, but generally in good used condition. All pots, switches, faders and screen are perfect. The only thing to note is that the pads need a firm touch – they all work ok though.”

“Body and power cord, cf card only. You can save and load to cf. You can use midi’s in out. All pads produce sound. The variation also changes. Others can be used as much as possible, but there are buttons that are hard to change. Especially the buttons on the top and bottom are bad. There may be a problem that has not been noticed elsewhere. The appearance is pretty damaged”

“Absolutely killer beat making machine. I’ve tried to picture any scratches but this unit is very good condition. I’ve upgraded to Black normal pads and will also include a set of blue fat pads. The encoder wheel PCB board has been upgraded to the smooth version from MPC stuff. Also included is a free 16GB memory card. JJOS free isinstalled and running great. ”

The product has been in protected storage for a while and is still in fully working order including the Quick Disk drive. There are roughly 62 disks that are included that vary in brand (see pictures)”
