“Akai MPC1000 with JJOS 2XL 3.52 & upgraded to 128mb RAM. In full working order. It has the newer style pads (all in one sheet) and all pads, buttons, dials & sliders are tested & working. It has a couple of small scratches on the front panel & a scratch in the data dial but is otherwise in good condition. I have the original box & power cord but no manual or original internal packaging. It comes with a 128MB SD card, I think this originally held the factory content but it’s been written over. “AKAI MPC 1000 Black w/ JJOS OS128XL, Fat Pads, Max Ram, 4 GB CF Card. Some scuffs on the body but it’s in excellent condition and a complete powerhouse in the studio. The XL screen makes DAWs irrelevant and the modulation options for samples and MIDI are still years ahead of their time. This thing is my baby but I’m moving on to more live arrangement. Will come with SanDisk Extreme III Card.

Fair amount of wear to the case as you can see from the photos but fully working, all pads and buttons are nicely responsive and don’t stick. If I had to be picky I’d say that F3 sometimes needs a slightly firmer press but it’s perfectly fine.”
