Natürlich gibts ein paar Schrammen und Striche am Gehäuse.

Wie oben sichtbar, fehlen die Plastikknöppe auf den Potis 10-12.

“Read my positive feedback and bid with confidence. This auction is for an Akai DPS 12 track digital recorder and digital mixer. There are on board effects and it will record 8 tracks at a time, 6 analog and 2 more digital if you have an A/D converter (not included).. This one has been upgraded by removing the obsolete 1 gb Jazz drive and replacing with a Maxtor 40 gig drive. The operating system has also been updated to 2.10.

Also included are the manual in a 3 ring binder, and about 60 pages of FAQ’s printed out from the internet on how to get around on the machine and shortcuts, etc… If you need the full specs they are available on the internet, just google “akai dps12″

It is in great condition and functions properly. There is material still on it and all channels play back, arm and record, etc…
The only flaw I can see is that there are some screws missing that hold the bottom cover on. There are enough there to do it, but some are missing. They probably weren’t put back on when the hard drive was installed. All in all a great machine that will give you hours upon hours of recording time with the larger drive installed.” Link

Included with the DPS-12:

1. Akai DPS-12 (not the DPS-12i) with EB2M effects card. The DPS-12 has been updated to the last known operating system update.

2. LaCie SCSI CD burner – works flawlessly. Oddly, it’s not marked with a model number.

3. Granite Digital SCSI cable. It used to be state-of-the-art, it has built-in diagnostics LED’s on one end.

4. Zip Drive that I used ONLY ONCE to update the operating system on the DPS-12. Power supply for the zip drive included.

5. Two fiber-optic cables, new in packaging, never used. Made by Hosa, model OPT-103. Cables are 3′ long each.

6. Two generic-looking SCSI cables, 3′ long each. One of them has an wide-SCSI to narrow-SCSI adapter on it.

7. SCSI terminator block.

8. Two 25′ lengths of CAT-5 cabling. These don’t actually go with the DPS-12, but you can have them if you want. I used them to connect my Furman headphone monitoring system.

9. All original documentation and operating manuals for the DPS-12, the LaCie CD burner, and Granite Digital SCSI cable. Manual for the Zip Drive is missing, sorry.” Link

It is a 12 track digital recording studio with an internal hard drive enabling multi layers. (1 gbyte disc total recording time)

It has a on screen multi function display and 6 inputs and can be connected to an external hard drive via a SCSI cable or to any other recording device via the headphone socket.

This is an impressive piece of kit and would recommend you read the hand book which is included.

When recording read the record section, when multi tracking read the tracking section. (read the piece that is relevant to what you are doing).
