This unit provides 2 true analog filters. These provide extra warmth to virtually any sound possible, whether its a keyboard, records/mp3s, bass, guitar, drums, vinyl, anything.
Great for both studio and live performances, and excellent for hip hop, house/garage and R&B where it will add a rich, deep warm analog feel.
Also superb for filtering out bass lines, or vocals, making karaoke tracks etc, and adding to any kind of music a touch of atmosphere.

“Sie bieten auf einen Analogen Filter der Firma Akai. Dieser Filter wurde als Partner für die Mpc 2000 entwickelt. Absolutes Groove Tool!
Ist bei mir leider sehr wenig in Benutzung gewesen! Ich habe es in meinen Homestudio(nicht Raucher) Rack eingebaut gehabt. Es war immer fest verkabelt und wurde nie bewegt oder sonst irgendwie Aus- und Eingebaut. Der Filter ist im absoluten Neuzustand! Ich hatte ihn für Dance und Technoproduktionen als Filtertool und für pumpende Beat im Einsatz. Desweiteren war ein Plattenspieler als Zuspieler angeschlossen bzw. es wurden die Preamps des Mfc’s als Recording Inputs für die DAW genutzt.

Der MFC42 verfügt sowohl über einen Stereokanal als auch einen völlig unabhängigen Monokanal. Beide Kanäle arbeiten als Band Pass, High Pass, Low Pass oder Notch Filter mit 12dB oder 24dB Flankensteilheit. Der Monokanal kann zusätzlich auch als 8-pole Filter mit 48(!) dB Flankensteilheit genutzt werden. Praktisch für den Live Einsatz: Die Filtertypen lassen sich bequem per Kippschalter und ohne Umwege direkt anwählen. Per LINK oder INVERT Schalter lassen sich die beiden Kanäle miteinander verknüpfen. Im LINK Modus steuern die Bedienelemente des Monokanals gleichzeitig auch die des Stereokanals, während im INVERT Modus der Stereokanal gegenläufig zum Monokanal arbeitet.

Die Filterkanäle können natürlich per MIDI Controller in allen wichtigen Parametern gesteuert werden, aber auch per LFO (synchronisierbar), ADSR Generator oder Triggertaster. Zusätzliche Effekte wie Distortion, Stereo Analog Phaser und Equalizer erweitern das klangliche Spektrum des Filter Moduls ernorm.

Anschluss findet der MFC42 per Cinch- und Klinkenbuchsen, ein Phono-Eingang ermöglicht den direkten Anschluss eines Plattenspielers. Zur Montage des MFC42 auf einer MPC2000XL oder MPC2000 ist ein spezielles, chromfarbenes Montage-Kit namens KIT-MFC erhältlich.
