Kurzbeschreibung:

Der Workflow wird von den 16 anschlagsdynamischen Pads geprägt. Außerdem gibt es einen Dreh-Encoder um die Samplebearbeitung zu vereinfachen. Der Encoder des MPC 2000 ist besonders einfach zu bedienen,er bietet einen äußeren Ring, welcher hilft bei der Samplebearbeitung zur nächsten Dezimalstelle zu springen und damit ein schnelles Schneiden des Sample erlaubt. Als besonders hervorzuheben ist die Groove-Quantisierung, welche es ermöglicht die menschliche Ungenauigkeit trotz des starren Sequenzerrasters zu simulieren. Diese Funktion hat sicherlich einen großen Teil zur Popularität der Maschinen beigetragen.

“Up for sale is a Used Akai DPS 12 digital multitrack machine. This machine turns on, and all of the scroll and record functions seem to work. Audio passes through every input and output.

THIS MACHINE IS MISSING THE INTERNAL DRIVE so you will need to find an external drive that works with this machine to save your recordings.

There are several models of external drives available on ebay that do this and I believe this to be a more stable way to store your recordings long term. The internal drives were highly unstable. This machine would interface nicely with an MPC if saving to an external drive.

I’ve used this for years in my production but I’m down-sizing my studio now simply because of financial problems. It’s got the 8 assignable mix outs, a digital in and out, two midi ins and outs, record in and out, and stereo outs (R & L and headphone jack). It’s also got SMPTE in and out and can be connected to a SCSI drive. This MPC DOES NOT come with a SCSI drive as I’ve always used floppy discs in the built in floppy drive on the front of the instrument.

Brauche nicht viel zum Gerät erzählen, wer sich einen kaufen möchte, wird über die Funktionen bescheid wissen. Er ist voll Funktionsfähig, hatte mir immer Treue Dienste geleistet und ist äusserlich in einem sehr guten Zustand.Habe ihn ausschließlich zuhause benutzt. Leider sind einige Pixel des Displays defekt, was aber auf die Arbeit keinerlei Einfluss hat. Alles ist noch ohne Probleme lesbar ( s.Fotos ).

Brought new in 1997. Never gigged. Full working order. Power button cover has broken off and one pad a bit ’sticky’ but it’s been like that since I got it and it’s never been a problem.
