This is a beautiful piece, this MPC 2000 Classic has been customized to have this cooler appearance:
Red Pads (Brand New)
Black Fader Slider Knob (Brand New)
Red transport control buttons (Brand New)
Red Topped Volume and Rec Gain Knobs
Black Cursor Arrow (Brand New)
32MB RAM (for max sampling time)
And least but not less important all the LEDs has been replaced for this beautiful bright white LEDs (instead of those outdated green LEDs).
Also included with the MPC it is my Producer Edition Drums kit pack (10 floppies with a $25 value) and a disk with Operating System V.1.72 ($10 value), also I am including the original manual and a power cable.
The fader slider post it is new so you can have a peace of mind that it is going to last for long time, also as you can see the screen is bright with no lines or dead pixels.

” My beloved MPC has to go as I need the money, it has worked wonders, with out any issue whatsoever, comes with the Operation system floppy disk which is required when you turn on your MPC,it has expanded memory cards(32mb), comes with a EB-16 Effects board which is a massive extra for your MPC, comes with IB-M208P 8 outputs board , good if you want to export the audio sounds on to a DAW, comes with a SCSI Zip drive and cables that will let you save and load big files, comes with a SCSI CD drive which you can run pre programed sound or files on to the MPC, the only issue is that I cannot find the SCSI cable that connects the CD drive on to the MPC but you can easylly get one on ebay.” Link

” This is a classic Akai MPC 2000 in great cosmetic condition and working order. The screen is bright and clear and contains no lines ( see photo). There are very minor scuffs on the sides, that are hardly noticeable, it was kept very well and is in near perfect condition. Upgraded with 8 outputs, contains 2 start up disks, original owners manual, and external zip drive. Truly a great piece of musical gear, that needs to find a good home.” Link

“This auction is for an original Akai MPC 2000. All the pads work perfectly. The LCD screen is beautiful and has no lines in it. This is the stereo model without the 8-in/out expansion. The memory has been upgraded. Cosmetically it is in pretty good condition.

There is a slight problem with it. The volume and record gain knobs are on the fritz. They do work, but you have to fiddle with them to get a clean signal. It doesn’t NEED to be replaced if you have patience, but it probably should be.” Link

MPC 2000 Classic, 32MB RAM, no FX card, no 8 out, new PSU, black pads, sensors all work, 2000XL front bezel, jog wheel works well. Here are the weaker areas, lines in screen (not bad enough to slow me down but will eventually need replacing), no floppy cover, OS disk works but sometimes doesnt read. ” Link
