“Akai MPC 2000 – New LCD – Maxed RAM – New Pad Sensor – All New Tact Switches & Buttons – New LED’s installed.
This MPC2000 has recently been serviced and has had every switch replaced. A new LCD screen, LED lights, and buttons. Has the max RAM installed 32MB and a new pad sensor installed. Floppy emulator has been installed and includes sample library disk as well as the the OS boot disk that loads automatically.

“Tested working all pads work and it sounds good. It looks like the plastic screen cover was glued on and has a few scuffs on it but you can read the screen fine Also the power button is broken/missing But able to turn off an on easily with the push of a finger. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS CLOSELY AS THIS WILL BE AN AS IS SELL.

“I bought this mpc and fixed it up a bit. It’s works great, the slider is broken but I included a brand new one. This MPC 2000 comes with the 8 outs as well as an sd scsi drive for quick loading. I also included some floppy disks and a tactile switch set.
I’ll include directions on using the sd card scsi drive and will answer any questions before purchase.

The LCD in the DPS12 can be installed in the MPC 2000 and MPC 2000XL. ” Akai DPS 12i digital recorder. Will not boot up correctly. Please see pics of screen. The unit will not locate recorded songs. Did some checking with Akai repair. Please see note they sent me. It is possible to repair with a new boot disk. However at this point I have decided to cut my losses and offer for sale. Original box, operators manual, power cord all included. If you can use it for parts or repair that would be great. Prefer not to send to the landfill. ”
