“Classic piece of musical technology from the early 90s. The AKAI mpc 3000 was used by artists such as Dr Dre and the Chemical Brothers. Still a much-loved sequencer and still a very relevant piece of studio kit because of the unique micro timing capability. This machine has been upgraded to full sampling capacity, it has the SCSI port on the back and a port for a monitor and has all of its individual audio outs. This machine also comes with a bespoke flight case, original cardboard box, original (much-thumbed!) manual and library discs. As you can see this machine has been used, but it remains rock solid, all the pads, sliders etc work.” Link

The features and timing are legendary, in fact some think this to be the best MPC ever made.

It’s in very good condition with all knobs, buttons, and encoders intact and functioning 100%.

“Hello boys and girls of eBay! Up for sale today is this MPC3000 Sampler. This unit is in overall great shape. All of the pads work and it has minimal signs of use. In fact, we’d say it’s a 9 out of 10 condition wise. It really is quite nice. It does have two issues though. First off, the backlight is out. This is common and most used MPC3000′s have bad backlights. So you were probably expecting that one. The other problem is the recording level knob broke off. It works but you have to dig down there and turn it. We have the knob and the broken post and both will be included with the unit.” Link

All buttons/lights/inputs/outputs checked and working fine.The jog wheel is present but tends not to work a lot of the time. I have purchased a new jog wheel encoder and a simple soldering job should fix this. Additional encoder will be included with item in original packaging. Note that unit can still be used perfectly in the meantime (with buttons).

In very good condition. New backlight has been installed for a clear display. Screen has no missing pixels.

Black pads and sensors have been bought and professionally installed. All pads tested and work fine. Dust cover, printed manual and DVD of mpc 3000 tutorial included.

A new CF card reader has been bought, installed, and works perfectly. CF card will be provided with an assortment of professional drum and instrument sounds provided.

Finally, this unit has the (now difficult to get) Vailixi Operating system installed. This improves the features (you can edit samples while they play (!)), performance, adds compression and enables the mpc to format disks so that Windows can read them.
