“Bought when putting together a home studio but later i hardly ever used it, i do not use it anymore now, i have no use for it at all so the money received from it will be invested in a new laptop. It is still in perfect condition in the original box with cable and manuals. “Here we have my MPC 5000, this is a GREAT bit of kit and I’m only selling due too lack of space and having to move my studio! All the specs are below
and they are all straight from the AKAI website.
This has served me well, and I am willing too leave all my samples (probably worth well over £100+) on there if the buyer want’s, if not I can wipe the machine, but this will also mean you will have to re-install 2.00operating system which I have upgraded it too.

There are a couple of things that i need mention about it.

-It has some cosmetic damage at the bottom of the casing (below the pads, you can see in pictures). Also I has had the cd drive cover removed as a CD drive was going
too be fitted but I never bought one in the end, I still have the cover and screw’s if necessary.

-Also pads 7 and 8 CAN be faulty, this is not too say they don’t work; they do. But at time’s they will not pick up all hit’s. This has never effected me or my workflow
at all as the mode menu’s still work with them and all, just say you where programming a hit hat, the pad’s may not pick up every quick hit.
Also very important to note, pads 7&8 are still very much ok for mode/menu choice’s etc.
If people did feel this was a problem you can get pads fixed for a very small price and there’s plenty of place’s in the UK too do so. I just do not have the time at the moment to doo so!

APART from this, EVERYTHING is in order it work’s and groove’s like a charm, all input’s outputs effects are great and it is a truly astonishing machine!
