“This one has been in storage for a few years and I remember purchasing a new EL illuminator panel as the original died before it was put into storage. I have plugged the unit in and all powers up including the disk drive. The unit can still read from a disk so this side I deem functional. The unit was in 100% working condition before put into storage and it would seem to work now, however I cannot test every function as there are quite a few, I can’t be bothered basically, so I am selling strictly AS IS with no negative feedback or comebacks. The unit is absolutely rammed with electronics so if your looking for an S1000 for parts, or it may be 100% functional then this may be the answer. Version 2 software eproms are installed, also has two memory expansion boards fitted but I do not know there memory size. There are a few cosmetic issues I need to point out, the top panel has suffered some rust breakthrough but not severe. The unit has an output socket missing from the front panel, these can be purchased quite cheaply. The buttons have yellowed over the years and one of the buttons has a small chunk taken out of it but still functions. No power lead, this is a 110v model so I don’t have the lead and as such it has not been tested. but this item will be a good source of spare parts (or repairs) for somebody.

Switched on and not sure if I can say it’s working 100% when you move the contrast to hard left or right the display fades out it is stable in the middle.

It is probably ok and I’m just not sure how it should be . It’s quite an old unit.

It switches on fine and seems ok other than that.
