” Hello Again. Up for your considerations is an Akai S1000HD. This is a classic!! I am cleaning out the studio and cannot justify keeping this as well as my ASR-10′s/ASR x’s + Emu Samplers. This unit is in great working condition and sounds phenominal. I purchased this in New Orleans about ten years ago and was told it was used by a major studio there. The unit is in very nice condition with average wear and tear. The unit would greatly benefit from a new LED backlight as it has grown quite faint (easily found on ebay for $40 dollars-no soldering required). This unit like all of my vintage gear is Sold-AS-IS, with that being said I have never had a problem with this unit and cannot anticipate anyone haveing one—-these beast are overbuilt!! ” Link
This inverter will also work in an MPC 60 or MPC 60II. The inverters for the S900 and S950 are different than this contrary to what the seller states.

The cap for the ‘Data’ knob is loose, and this knob must be pushed inwardly to function. We have no reason to believe this item is not working however its functioning status is unknown; we are unable to test the item due to our lack of knowledge and lack of proper equipment for testing. ” Link
