In great condition, fully working with accesories. The SCSI Card simply needs a new fuse no other problems. The sampler itself is in lovley condition, very little wear and tear for the age. just a bit of rack rash around the mounting holes. All buttons and controlls work as intended. None stick and none are broken.

I purchased this to play around with sampling drums and instrument stabs. AKAI are known for the punchy sounds produced in this regard – I was one of a few friends who expanded studio setups to include sampling hardware – virtual sampling is great, but it doesn’t really 100% capture that old school sound, does it?

Am downsizing studio due to lack of space and have sold a few hardware odds and ends.

I’ve not used the AKAI, but a friend borrowed it for a project around 2 years ago. It all worked well, I was informed and I heard the fruits of his labour. Unfortunately, like all these AKAIs, the screen has dimmed since I bought it. Which really annoyed me – I was about to advertise this as a rare “Screen is still bright” find – alas, its dim but still very readable and functioning.

Fascia plate is good condition – there’s a small grey blemish on the far left and the unit has the usual rack scuffs on top. Screen is not scratched. All buttons depress well. All knobs turn and function as normal. ” Link

Gerät war Ersatzgerät für einen anderen Akai-Sampler. Daher in den letzten 5 Jahren nicht im Live-Einsatz.

Display hat noch gute Leuchtkraft.

Keine technischen Mängel bekannt.

Ich gehe davon aus, dass als interner Speicher 2 MB (Standard) verbaut sind. Kann optional auf 16 MB aufgerüstet werden.
