“You are bidding for the Akai S5000 V2 Sampler with onboard USB Board & 72Mb Memory.
I’ve owned it for 6 years and kept it very safe. The previous mounted it in a rack and similarly looked after it very well. Note the 64note Polyphony and the operating system software version as 2.14.
It came with a CD player which enables input of samples from CD, so I include that too.
All in perfect condition, except for the fixing marks where the sampler has been bolted into the rack – these are visible in two photos. The glare on the screen is just from the camera. There is no damage.”

Still had all the plastic on the case before i took it off to take the photos!Has been in a rack all its life and controlled only via usb so the front panel has virtually not been touched. slight rack rash around the rack holes and two missing cover plates where the usb and adat cards were removed.Small scratch on top of front panel, not seen when in rack” Link

Here for sale is my Akai S5000 sampler. It is in Good Condition (does have some marks and scratches to it) and does power on and appear to fully function but i cannot get any sound from the outputs or the headphones.
This well maybe an easy fix for someone with the know how or could be used for the spare parts.
The sampler has, 72 meg of ram, 8 analog outs, 64 voices of polyphony and is running operation system os 2.14” Link

“Hey all got an Mpc60 & S5000 bundle package here! Two legendary machines! Both Items have been in storage for a while but have been pulled out to sell for a local studio. MPC60- Works great, screen works good and has no dead pixels or dead lines I can see (see photos). It has normal wear and tear marks such as scuffs, and scratches. I have tested and everything seems to be running good. Pads work and loading works. I have sampled in which works fine as well. The 60 is stock so has room for upgrades. The OS is 2.02. Their must have been something heavy placed on the pads at one point so the cage is slightly bent by the 5 and 6 pad but they work fine still and can be fixed. Also the Play/Start button is a little wonkie but works still. Onto the S5000. Its completely stock and still has the original plastic on it. OS is 2.12 and everything works great on it. No dead pixels on screen or dead lines (see photos). It has normal wear and tear marks and all buttons are solid. I have the boot disk as well for the S5k.” Link
