Betriebssystem: Version 2.12
Wünsche viel Spass beim bieten meines ersten Baby’s!
Versand geht klar..Selbstabholung wäre mir aber lieber.” Link

“This item was recently acquired through another Ebay Auction. However, the same day I won this auction, a local Sam Ash Music sales associate informed me that he wanted to his MPC 2000XL which is fully loaded with everything I was looking for. Thus, I no longer have use for this MPC 2000 series. So ready further below and good luck bidding.
This is a Akai MPC2000 Studio Plus. This has a floppy drive, Effects Board, 8-OUTS, SCSI & SYMPTE. Its been treated really well. Its nice a clean and the LED screen is nice and bright with no lines in it! Everything works great on the machine. Just has a few small marks here and there, really nothing major at all. ENJOY”

“AKAI Professional MPC 2000XL includes NEC MULTISPIN SCSI EXTERNAL CD ROM DRIVE.
It was a flawless machine, the pads were responsive, the screen display is perfect except for a thin line in the middle. There are no heavy scratches or scuff marks on the MPC. Its in great condition. The internal drive doesn’t work, but that’s easily solved by using the external CD Rom.
I am including a SCSI wire with it. One of the clamps on the SCSI is missing, so for a tighter grip, you’ll need to replace it, but it does attach and it does work.”

” Up for sale is an Akai S900 12-bit Sampler. This is a classic sampler that is currently used even though it was originally released in late 80s. The version I have here for sale has OS 1.2 in ROM and therefore it can run OS 4.0 from floppy. You can see this on the pictures below. I used to use this in my home studio, so it is fully working. The LCD backlight is a little dim, but it still works as you can see on the last picture. The last time I used it was about 2 months ago. Because of its age it is Sold As Is, and no returns are accepted. ‘” Link

Needs a little bit of repair. Bidding starts at 1 cent.
“What you see here is one of the INDUSTRY STANDARD Drum Machine/Samplers, with NO RESERVE! RAM is MAXED out at 128MB. Has the latest Akai OS installed. You can install the famous jjOS’s that ADDS TONS of FEATURES. It is in GREAT condition (very few light scratches as shown in pics). When you have a piece of equipment like this, you take CARE of it! which is what I myself DID. However my buddy who previously owned it (original owner), Thought he was a DJ and loaded all types of scratch samples and whatnot, and used the Q1 slider a bit MUCH and apparently with a bit too much pressure. Basically what I am saying is, the Q1 slider has a “loss of signal point”. to break it down FURTHER so you KNOW EXACTLY what to expect and what you will be receiving, the Q1 slider WORKS 100% with the exception of it jumping to the middle of the slider when slid all the way down and THEN ADDING ADDITIONAL pressure. So it goes up and down smoothly, but the top half of the slider appears to be LOOSER? (from the Q link slider PCB Board), allowing the signal to act as if you didn’t slide it down but left it in the middle, WHEN APPLYING ADDITIONAL pressure (goes all the way down but then JUMPS to middle). Q2 and EVERY other button, knob, jog wheel, screen (no scratches), inputs, outputs, midi all work flawlessly as they should. I used the Q1 slider all the time with no problems at all. Once you’re aware of it, its easy to compensate, and keep it sounding nice. You SHOULDN’T add too much pressure on PRO AUDIO equipment anyway. The very TIP of the ejection trigger is also snapped off, almost FLUSH with the MPC’s body so you may have to use something to eject a Flash Card if you don’t have nails. I didn’t find this a problem either. BOTH of these CAN be REPLACED by YOU with some care and $50 dollars. Q Link Slider PCB Board is $40 and the Ejection Trigger is $10 from mpcstuffDOTcom. Comes with power cord and a Flash Card (64MB by Lexar Media). I can throw some drum kits on it if you wish. ” Link

Starting at $300 — repairable if you are comfortable with that sort of thing. Possibly needs a new CPU board or just the tact switches replaced, RAM and case sides.
“It is being sold 100% AS-IS since it has some issues. With a little care and repair, this might be a great working unit for you, or a great source for a lot of great, hardly used parts. I bet FORAT can fix it. The unit has seen very little use overall.
PLEASE READ as there’s a bit to take in…
This unit has been damaged in shipping. It has been shipped one too many times and and must have been treated a little rough in transit. It looks like the installed CD drive came loose from its mounting and moved around inside the casing. As a result, the jog wheel isn’t responding when you turn it. There is evidence that the CD drive came in contact with the underside of the jog wheel assembly since the drive’s casing has scratches on it. The data ribbon cable that connects the drive with the CPU also shows signs of trauma. See detail pics of the ribbon cable and the CD drive casing.
I sold it previously and the buyer had the following complaint about it’s function:
“when you load a song in wav. format it plays fine.. but as soon as you start trying to chop and screw it, there is a constant click through the whole song… also.. if you load up all the sounds there is a cracking noise in all the sounds.. even on the pads that don’t have any sounds on them. Factory reset was not working.. I’m sending it back today. You should receive it soon.”
Research on the subject points to a faulty memory RAM unit being the cause of that problem, but I can’t be sure of that.
He sent it back, and I gave him a full refund, but the unit was damaged in shipping. The CD drive was loose and the plastic sides showed signs of rubbing on the cardboard box it was in, as well as one of them being cracked and broken. I DID NOT and WOULD NOT have shipped it like that. I ALWAYS put some padding material in between the plastic and the box and pack these things VERY well. He took it to a UPS store and they did a crappy job of packing it for its return.
So.. here’s what’s wrong with it that I know of:
* Jog wheel doesn’t respond. The cursor move buttons around it work fine though.
* The above issue (possibly a faulty RAM module) still persists, most likely
* The Plastic sides show scuffs from rubbing inside the box
* The Right plastic side has taken some trauma and the screw guides are broken on the inside (I will include the pieces that broke off if you want to glue them back on). It is also cracked on the back side
* The CD Drive casing is scratched on top
I have re-mounted the CD drive, so it should be good from now on.
What’s RIGHT with it:
* It has an 80 GB internal Hard Drive and 512 MB of RAM (possibly faulty RAM Module)
* It has the 8 output expansion card which is a $300 value by itself.
* It powers up fine and navigates through all the menus.
* All the controls seem to respond as they should except for the Jog-Wheel
* The main panel and other parts (except for the end caps) remain in excellent, clean condition.
* It has the 1.71 OS version on it which is the latest that AKAI put out.
I haven’t conducted any further testing of the unit, because I have limited means of doing so and frankly I just want the thing out of here. I’m not very knowledgeable about its operation.
It is sold 100% AS-IS. I make no guarantee of its function beyond it powering up once you get it. It will be a great deal for the right buyer. The sale will be final and I will not accept returns on this item.
It will arrive with some, but not a ton of drum samples on the hard drive. It shows the HD as 99% empty.
It includes the MPC, power cord, reference manual, user guide, Akai ak.Sys. software disc and printed user guide. I will ship it with fresh materials since the original box is beat. ” Link

“AKAI MPC 2500. INDUSTRY STANDARD FOR HIP HOP PRODUCTIONS
I have an MPC 2500, boxed, hardly used less than 3 weeks old. I am regrettably selling due to financial issues.
I have added a RAM upgrade, installed a 20GB HDD and purchased an additional 4GB CF card. The 20GB HDD has 10GB of samples taken from old vinyl, so the machine is all ready to produce on! I have also upgraded
the OS to JJOS. In total the upgrades alone have cost me more than £200.
The machine retails at £1000. It is fully boxed and packaged and comes complete with all manuals and additional leads that I purchased separately. It’s in brand new condition.” Link
