“I need to start by saying that this unit does not always work properly. It intermittently cuts out the signal of the audio, sometimes not working for a few hours at a time. consequently it has not been used for a long time due to it’s unreliability. It remains powered on and no other physical side effects occur making me believe that it could be fixed relatively easily if you have a grasp of electronics or know a good service center, and I’m sure somebody out there could restore it back to good working order which is well worth doing. The only reason I am not fixing it myself is I’m selling off our whole studio and getting out of music and going into video.” Link
