It comes used but in perfect working condition with only a few light scruffs you’d expect from a used item. I’ve fully expanded the RAM to 128mb and it comes installed with JJOS, which is a third-party operating system designed for the MPC1000 and is well known for its advantages over the stock system installed. If required, you can re-install the Akai’s original operating system – very quick/easy to do and you can find the instructions online. I’m selling as it’s a piece of hardware that I just don’t seem to use that much anymore in my studio – if someone else gets more out of it than I do than all the better!”
