“This is my MPC 2000 classic I’m ready to part ways with after a few years. I really love this drum machine as it is easy to use! With this comes the SCSI external floppy drive that Can be quite a pricey attachment. On the drive contains drum kits such as a Pete Rock collection.
However, since I used this as my controller as I MIDI’d it to my s950 sampler, i was not able to get noise from the MPC on its own. It is possible I am hooking it up incorrectly. The main volume knobs are removable in case it needs to be repaired.
Another issue is the back light/ screen. As you can see in a photo, it is has ‘lines’ thru the text making it appear a bit glitchy.. itis possible to still navigate
