“This listing is for a USED Akai MPC 2000 Sampler Sequencer. I have owned this machine for a few years and it has been in a smoke free environment while it’s been in my possession.
Cosmetically this unit is in great condition. All of the labels on the face of this MPC are visible and legible. The screen is in great shape and without any screen lines. This listing includes a floppy disk with the 1.72 operating system update. This unit has 8 individual mix outputs but does not have the effects board installed or SMPTE expansion. There are some scratches here and there on the sides and backside of the unit from use. Please refer to the pictures for more details about the units cosmetic condition. Below are the functions and parts of the MPC which have been tested.
• Main Volume, Recording Gain, data and digit knobs are working
• Keys 0-9 are working including the shift and enter keys
• F1- F6 are working as well as main screen and open window keys
• Tap Tempo, sequence, step, go to and start end bar keys are working.
• The cursor keys are mostly working. The right and arrow down keys are working great. The left arrow key works most of the time and the lastly the up arrow key only worked a couple times while I was testing the unit. (These arrow keys may just need cleaning)
• Rec, over dub, stop, play, play start, pad bank, full level and 16 levels are working as they should.
• Pads 1-16 are responsive and have no issues
• Assignable Mix outputs 1-8 are working properly
• Record inputs (left and right) are working along with stereo outputs (headphones, left and right)
