This unit has been professionally modded for internal SCSI, The external SCSI connection also works simultaneously as needed.
A Fujitsu Magneto Optical drive is installed and includes several disks. Most are still sealed and are 540mb and 230mb in capacity.
These disks are extremely reliable up to 1,000,000 rewrites.
If you do not prefer MO disks, you can always install a SCSI Compact Flash drive, SD drive, or Zip drive.
LCD display is healthy and has no lines or any other issues.
All buttons and sliders work like new. The smaller tact switches were replaced with Alps switches.
The Note Variation slider has also been replaced.
The pads were replaced with new old stock original Akai pads. The pad sensors are healthy.
The data wheel (inner) was also replaced with a new old stock part from Akai.
This unit is in top condition and will provide years and years of enjoyment.
Cosmetic condition is 9/10. There is a small slight dent on the right side of the housing. But it’s really not that noticeable. Other than that, it’s the best looking and functioning unit you’ll find anywhere.
