“This unit is in very good and clean condition. It has only ever been used in a limited way in a home studio and not used at all for some years. The MPC is very clean and all the buttons work etc. There are two minor things to report – the Note Variation slider is missing (I am sure this can be cheaply replaced) as is the on/off switch on the back. Neither affects operation and you can see the details in the pictures I have added. The screen works fine and the cursor moves things around perfectly. A really nice item.
I have fired the box up and tested it to the best of my ability and equipment. I’ve created some patterns, used the pads to trigger midi on an external device (Roland Fantom), loaded in some audio samples and edited them. Everything worked perfectly. I have not, for a while, loaded anything via the SCSI or internal drive as I don’t have the media available to do that I am afraid.
