“I am selling my Akai Mpc 2000xl. It has Maxed Out Memory, it has stickers on it, it don’t have the slider I don’t know if the slider works I never tried to fix it. it doesn’t have the 8 outs cover. 8 outs board I sold to a friend so I just covered it with scotch tape. It doesn’t have the zip drive. The zip drive I wanted to replace that’s why it doesn’t have one but it does work just need a new drive I was trying to upgrade to CF drive I just covered it with dry wall tape. The volume when turning down makes a lil static noise but it only happens when you turn it down. The sound never goes in or out or left or right. The buttons stop and play are loose cause they are broke inside but they work just fine. The shift button is a lil jumpy but I think it just needs to be broken in its only jumpy a lil when I’m editing a sample. I painted it black and It has some scratches. There is paint that chipped on the right side as in picture. Also D pad bank button is stiff but works It just need to be broken in. What you see is what you get. Other than that it works great I just sample into it and record my beats out since I don’t have a drive. It never glitched on me ever and its never been dropped.
