MPC 2000xl still in the original Box. Close to New as you are going to get. Condition is incredible (SEE PHOTOS). This is the Studio Plus version which is a hard find in this condition. It has Effects, SMPTE Chip, 8 Outputs, 32 megs of RAM (MAX), and the floppy drive. This machine was ordered from Akai with all these options, this was the Top of the line 2000xl at the time. Currently Running 1.14 OS (Operating System). This unit was purchased by a friend over 16 years ago, the shipping date on the Original Box: Feb 6th 2002. He opened the box, tried to learn the machine but quickly gave up and then he put it back into the box and there it sat for 16.5 years. I picked it up from him 3 days ago, I did a full diagnostic and checked every Pad, Button, Slider, input/output and Functions and I even tested the SCSI and it’s all 100% perfect working order. The LCD screen is so bright and clear. Buttons are all still the original color with no fading or yellowing! Amazing. The Jog Wheel has No wear whatsoever. This MPC has less than 3 hours of Power ON time, it is going to last a very long time. No finger print stains or rust spots on the bottom plate of the unit. I noticed 2 tiny blemishes on the front panel which I believe are from the way it sits inside the box/styrofoam (Shown in the last Photo)You have to look closely to see them. ”
