Up for sale is this Used 2004 Akai MPC 2000 XL (blue) Midi pad Production Center. This unit is maxed out with all possible performance upgrades made to it. I am the 2nd owner of this machine and have added some modifications.
-EB16 effects board is installed and tested working.
-This unit has the expandable 8 output board with S/PDIF digital in/out tested and working.
-It has the installed maximum memory size of 32MB.
-Flash ROM module is installed and working properly.
-And the absolute best modification is the CF card reader mod, a huge upgrade over the default zip drive. This upgrade makes this unit able to compete with modern hardware samplers. A formatted Sandisk 2GB CF card is included.
-The sound from this unit is high quality with no distortions or any other audio glitches.
-All buttons, faders, knobs, and features are working properly.
I wouldn’t be selling this unit, but my current production set up requires a software DAW only and I’d like my bedroom space back.
