” For sale is my AKAI MPC2000 XL Studio Plus Sampler – the iconic piece of equipment that J Dilla used for his seminal productions. I’ve had this machine for very many years and it has never let me down. Cosmetically is has got scuffs and scratches here and there (see pictures) but the machine is in good working order!
I have taken the floppy disk drive out and only ever used the internal memory of 32GB (see picture) but you can also connect the MPC to a computer via the SCISI to USB adapter that comes with the unit. Also included is a 4GB hard drive (which I have never used myself) and the power lead.
The MPC2000 XL Studio Plus model, which comes with all the expansion boards found in the Studio Sampler version as well as the EB16 SampleVerb Multi-Effects Processor Board option built-in.
It is a fragile machine so collection would be preferred, but I can ship if requested”
