Item:
1. Powers on just fine
2. Screen: no lines (standard black & White)
3. Screen tilt-this is broken but does hold the screen at tilt sometimes
4. Pads/Sensors: All in good working order
5. SSD-the 80 GB hard drive for this unit was replace with a SanDisk SSD PLUS 120GB Solid State Drive
6. The CD drive is in good working order
7. The fan on this item was also replace with a low noise one (Noctua 60x25mm A-Series Blades with AAO Frame, SSO2 Bearing Premium Fan – Retail Cooling NF-A6x25 FLX (3-pin connector) and it works fine
8. USB port: Has been replaced by electronics shop: will power up devices have not used to transfer any info o SSD
9. The two sticks of ram in this item is KINGSTON KVR100X64C2/256 256MB PC100 DIMM CL2. It was mix matched when I first got it. 512 MB maxed out!
10. This machine comes with no sounds.
11. This machine will only come with its power cord

12. The CF readers works fine. It is a drive that support hot swap, but will not do this in the mpc4000. To use it you must connect the two scsi ports by the cable as shown in the pictures. The scsi CF reader is actually an external device housed in the machine. Also the scsi connections it looks ugly on the back. I put it together and is was fun, but not practical so screw you. This CF reader sells for 200 alone on ebay. If you put it in a Mpc2000XL it is capable of being hot swappable. Just keep that in mind. I didn’t want to take this thing apart to get it.
