“Ok, so I really don’t want to sell this. I have a lot of time and coin invested in this bad dude right here but as time goes on, it is turned on and used less and less.
Let’s start with what I have done to this beautiful beast.
It has a brand new screen in it which is really sharp and looks better than the original in my opinion. (I believe it uses LED’s but not positive.)
It has a brand new data encoder wheel. So no skipping around on you when going through sequences and what not.
As took took it apart to paint the buttons red, I cleaned all the boards and contact switches thoroughly. It has been in a smoke free home.
A brand new power button. Why the other one went bad on me I still have no idea.
Here is a list of things I have done to this as far as upgrades.
I ordered a black skin from MPC Stuff as well as the red fat pads that are on it. (I will include the original black pads.)
It has every option available EXCEPT for the ADAT card. I never found one that was justifying the price.
The ram is fully expanded with an 80gig HD.
It has the effects card as well and used that more than I did a lot of the other features. You can really twist sounds and add reverb etc. really easily.
It has a solid billet encoder wheel that is chrome. I will include the original plastic one.
I replaced the pad sensors as well.
All tact switches work as they should.
The only thing I never got around to doing is replacing all the LED’s with red ones to complete the look. ” Click here to search for MPCs on eBay
