“This is the smallest MPC that AKAI ever made. It can be powered by 6 AA batteries. Everything works perfectly. The unit includes the full 128MB RAM expansion (the chip says 256MB but only 128MB can be accessed). It has also been modified with the Corx pad modification, which makes the pads much more responsive. This modification can easily be removed if you prefer the standard pad action, which in my mind is quite inferior to the Corx. I’m selling the unit to make room for an MPC Live. My loss is your gain. Makes a great MIDI controller as well. The pads are much higher quality on this unit than most MIDI controllers, and the standalone operation is a major plus.
