“Selling my old MPC60, it’s been in use for years and with that comes signs of age:
The paint is not as fresh so it has scratches, scuffs and very light rusting in a few spots.
The SIDE SLIDES both are missing as this was being used in a Rack-mount setup.
The LCD is visible but the backlight is slowly giving out, easily fixed for less than $60 on ebay as there are replacement backlights available.
Some of the tact buttons need extra pressing for them to register but they all work nonetheless.
If someone wants to work on this and restore it, it will be easy to do for them:
Replace the tact switches
Replace Backlight
Find some side slides.
Overall the synth works very well, I have not had an issue working on it, all 16 pads work amazingly, the sampling, sync, all outputs, midi, disk drive and SCSI work as I use them everyday.” Click here to search for MPCs on eBay
