“I’m a huge fan of simple gear that sounds good, workflow is everything after all, and the S20 is just such a device. Gives you that classic 16 bit Akai thing in a neat desktop set-up, a format which is present everywhere these days in many Elektron & Moog products etc., but was pretty ahead of its time for the 90’s when most stuff was rack mount or keys. This S20 is in stunning original condition, very minor age-related wear and tear, hard to find anything worth mentioning, all fully functional, bright screen and all pads/dials/buttons etc. work as they should, disk drive all good.
