“AKAI S3000XL SAMPLER 32 MEG with ZIP DRIVE & CD READER
This sampler had moderate use over a 9-10 year period and was only ever in my rack in the studio. It is in mint condition in the original box with the users manual. I’m selling it with the Zip drive and CD reader as illustrated and I will include ten Zip discs. I am also including SCSI cables and a SCSI terminator.
This is a chance to enjoy the punch and clarity of the vintage Akai sound. I know samplers should not have a characteristic sound, but somehow the Akai’s have this “immediate” and less digital sound than we have grown used to. In all honesty, my only slight gripe with the Akai S Series in general is the rather dim backlit display, but this is something that all those of us who have used them become used to. The advantages of the huge sound far outweigh any disadvantages.
