“If you want more memory in your Akai S950, it allows you up to 2 cards (each 750KB and an unexpanded Akai S950/S900 has 750KB itself) you can just unscrew the bottom plate (8 screws) and plug it into a socket. This card also comes with a nut (that winds onto the long steel screw inside) if you want to secure it even more. This card is tested and working. If you encounter any problems, you can post the card back to me for a full refund.
If your S950 says 512 Kwords on bootup, it’s unexpanded – 1024 Kwords equals 1.5MB (1 memory card), 1536 Kwords means it’s fully expanded to 2.25MB (2 memory cards).” Link
