“Used but in really good order for its age. These things are built like tanks. There are a few marks on the casing, I have photographed the worst one, just above the power switch. Comes with optional and rare IB 109 SCSI and SP/DIF interface with coaxial and optical inputs. These when available can be quite pricey on there own. Also comes with the maximum memory “1536 Words” a whopping 2.25Mb, it really is amazing what they did with that amount of memory, please check image with bootup screen to confirm this. The screen “usually a weak point” is still easily readable. The floppy drive works flawlessly which is often not the case either. I opened the case up and it is still pretty clean inside. It still has the original power socket on the casing. I have purchased a new cable for this recently. Also comes with rack ears. One screw missing for these. Only have 7.
The sampler has had very little use in the last 20 years, and none in this century except for testing recently and the odd plug in for fun. It has been safely packed away in a cupboard in my house. I have tested it for sampling, saving to floppy, retrieve from floppy, checked all the outputs inc mix. Midi in out and thru all as expected. I did not check the digital interfaces as I do not have anything easily setup to do this. I also cannot check the SCSI interface as I do not have a suitable SCSI device to do so any more. The sampler does a sys check on boot “see image” which states the board is installed and it certainly worked for me in the past.
