“The Akai X7000 is a sampler that is sought after by many musicians trying to take advantage of the 12-bit sound and the warmth it adds. Its specs and reviews can be found on line and many people rave about the X7000 and what it adds to their setup.

I bought this after many recommendations but I have not been able to locate any of the 2.8” disks that are used to store the samples and therefore can’t verify if it is fully functional or not. The unit does have a test tone on the output that changes pitch when the keys are pressed and you can hear the disk drive twirling but without the disks I’ve never been able to use this.

Due to this I’m not putting any reserve and I am selling this As Is. The unit weighs 35 lbs so the shipping cost needs to be considered when bidding. ” Link
